Parquet floor refinishing and restoration

Parquet floors and other types of wooden flooring will wear out and lose their shine with use. Floor sanding removes existing damage and refinishing restores the floor’s original beauty and shine. Wooden floors should be refinished at least every 15 years. The process is suitable and recommended for solid wood parquet, multi-layer ready-made parquet, outdoor cladding, wooden fences and wooden façades.

How we work:

When refinishing the parquet floor, we will first determine the type of wood, installation pattern and the amount of solid wood still left for sanding. This helps us decide which sanding machine to use. Normally, we use belt sanders and angle (edge) grinders, the latter only for parquet floor restoration. The steps include belt sanders for rough sanding, single disc sanders for interim sanding, and final polishing. The edge-grinding machine is used in inaccessible places, for example around the heaters.

If there is not enough solid wood left for a complete sanding job, parquet restoration is the only option available.

We will carefully study the space whether the parquet floor is installed, listen to your needs, and list out the options available. After finalizing all the details, we’ll arrange a delivery date. We always deliver when we say we will.
